All discipleship starts with the question "What is the gospel?" This is an important question for us to answer as Christians so that we know exactly what it is we have believed that has the power to save us, but also for those that wish to share the gospel with others. What are the essential components so that we don't leave out anything important? Do I have to have a long time to share the gospel with someone or are there simple tools that allow me to share the gospel with others in the short, every-day interactions I have with them? Is there a purpose in sharing the gospel beyond conversion? (There is, and that is where Biblical Discipleship comes in). On this page we'll share many of the same resources with you on how to share the gospel and your testimony that I have shared with the 99-1 Discipleship Discord community.
One such resource that allows us to share the gospel with others in a "three minute" version is called "The Three Circles." It contains most of the essential elements of the gospel without using a lot of fancy theological terms. Here are a couple of video examples of this as well as a PDF outline. I find this particular technique is good when somewhere where you can grab a napkin or a small piece of paper, however it is harder for street-evangelism where you may not necessarily be able to draw out the Three Circles. In that case, you can still go through the basic elements of the presentation without referring to the "circles" themselves.

As the one sharing the gospel with someone else, we also want you to be able to support any part of this technique with Bible verses. You may want to casually quote these as part of your presentation by saying "The Bible says,...." (you need not necessarily give the exact reference unless they ask "Where does the Bible say that?") or you may want to write the references into the picture you draw for the person hearing the gospel to look up later. If you're going to ask them to look the verses up later, make sure that you give them a Bible or show them how they can access the Bible for free through a free app for their smartphone. If you want to know a couple of these that I recommend, contact me and I'll be happy to make some suggestions--this may be especially important if the person you're sharing the gospel with speaks another language other than you, and you want to make sure they can read the verses in their native language to better understand the gospel. I've uploaded a document prepared by my church with these verses as well as some "words" at the end to help if you want to construct a 3-Cirlces diagram and maybe even quiz yourself and where each word or verse goes (the words in blue in the second set of verses match the words you can cut out and put onto a poster like the one displayed below.
