I hope as each of you studies God's Word that you learn more about what the gospel is and isn't and how you can know that you have eternal life through Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God. If you don't know what that means and want to talk to someone about that, the first link in this section is for you. Head on over to ChatAboutJesus.com and you can connect with someone by voice, text, or chat who will help you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and take that first step in becoming His disciple. The lessons here may also be helpful as they teach others to share the gospel, but you will hear the gospel presented.
For the rest of us who have already taken that step, we are to be about The Great Commission of sharing the gospel and making disciples wherever we go and whatever we do. However, of the church members I've met feel uncomfortable with this because they say they don't feel that they have adequate tools or training to be able to share their testimony and the gospel with others. These tools are made available to you to help you learn different techniques. Evangelism is usually something best done in small groups (Jesus sent his disciples out two by two) so that you are not going into situations completely alone and you have someone to pray with you and support you, and you have another team member to help you deal with anyone who is trying to be disruptive and cause distractions. That other team member can also pray for you while are sharing the gospel and can talk with you about what went well and what could be done better next time, especially if you go out with a "trainer" (someone more mature in their faith and more comfortable with sharing the gospel). However, there will be plenty of times you are dropped into situations ordained by God where it is just you and the person that you need to share the gospel with, so it is important for you to learn how to start a conversation and leading it to a place where you can share the gospel. Remember that you are not responsible for the decision that person makes, just speak the truth in love and be ready to give an answer for the reason for the hope that you have.
